Here at Writers Bloc, like the Vengaboys, we like to party. Sometimes it’s nice to get out from behind the desk and meet other writers. And what better excuse to do that than a sunny day, book swapping and hanging out in the park?
The following is a loosely based recount of the days frivolity.
Getting ready for the day with some crafternooning in the morning!
One thing was for sure, we were going to eat well.
Tough day really.
So tough, we better take a break and read a book.
These were the flags for the story trail, ready for strange ideas and disjointed narratives
Each person could only see the previous flag.
Hilarity ensured.
Just because.

And laying about
Taking stock
Each story trail leads to something. At the end of one, there were books. At the end of others were TimTam’s. Everyone wins.

Books!
Loads of books.
Some of the trails led to biscuits.
On we go!
Ibis (dinosaur birds) helped us out.
We had to be quick because people were taking our books. Free books they said!
The story trail was lots of fun. Even for people who turned up late. Look at that glee!

Thank you to all that came along. It was such a lovely day. We were really lucky with the weather and the company was just as sterling. See you all at the next bloc party in March/April.
